A space station where the scientists Kartz and Reimer were close to perfecting a time travel capsule. The Time Lords sent the Doctor and Jamie McCrimmon to convince the station's chief scientist, Joinson Dastari, to stop. Outraged that the Time Lords would consider stopping anyone else possessing the same abilities as themselves, Dastari refused, drugging the Doctor, who he presented to a Sontaran called Stike. The Sontarans killed everyone aboard J7 apart from the unconscious Doctor, the Androgums, Chessene, Shockeye, and Dastari. Jamie hid in the ventilation ducting for some weeks until a later incarnation of the Doctor found him there.
