An augmented Androgum who served as Dastari's chatelaine aboard the science research space station J7. Along with Dastari, another Androgum, called Shockeye and the Sontarans Stike and Varl, she stole an experimental time machine from the station. They headed to Earth with the Doctor, whom they planned to dissect to learn how to operate the time module. However, Chessene could not totally overcome her Androgum inheritance and so, thirsting for blood, she killed Dastari and betrayed Stike, but was herself destroyed when she tried to operate the time machine.
