Inhabitants of the planet Mogar, the Mogarians were a golden humanoid species whose vionesium-rich planet had been exploited by the Earth empire. Mogarians did not breathe oxygen. This meant that to travel amongst humans they required special airtight suits and masks, along with translators so that they could be understood. Due to their breathing apparatus, Mogarians aboard the liner Hyperion III were able to enter the bridge when it was approaching the Black Hole of Tartarus which had been filled with poison by the Vervoids, and save the ship. Shortly after, water was thrown into their faces, killing them.
