invasion of the kraals
Escaping their radiation-riddled planet, a Kraal invasion fleet made its way towards Earth. They sent pods containing android duplicates of the inhabitants of the village of Devesham and staff members of a nearby deep space tracking station. Along with copies of the Doctor and various UNIT personnel, including Harry Sullivan and Sergeant Benton, the Kraals planned to colonise Earth by spreading a lethal fungus that would consume living matter. The Doctor sent out a jamming signal which stopped all the androids and killed the Kraal chief scientist Styggron. This convinced the Kraals that they would be easily defeated.
