hand of omega
The colloquial name given to the sentient stellar manipulator used by Omega and Rassilon to detonate the black hole that provided the Time Lords with their power. It was brought to Earth by the Doctor and left in 1963. It was later buried but stolen by humans working for one of two factions of Daleks hoping to utilise it. Ultimately it fell into control of the Imperial Daleks whose Emperor was Davros. Goaded into using it by the Doctor, Davros sent it on a preprogrammed mission, which involved detonating the sun in Skaro's solar system, destroying the Dalek planet in the process.
