final destruction of earth
As scientists had predicted for many years, Earth was finally consumed by its sun in the far future. Mankind had eventually made plans for this using concepts formulated when Earth had been evacuated centuries before due to solar flares. Vast spaceships and colony ships were built, similar to vast arks. One of these carried miniaturised humans and a race of intelligent reptiles called Monoids to the planet Refusis II. One of the colony ships crashed on the planet Frontios, and had to fight off the Tractators. Earth was actually seen by some of its people being devoured by the Sun.
