exxilon
A planet within the Milky Way, whose natural ore was parranium, which was needed by the colony planets to combat a space plague spread by the Daleks. An Earth ship and a Dalek ship both attempted to land on Exxilon, but were caught in a massive power drain. This was caused by the living city, built by the Exxilons thousands of years previously. A majority of the Exxilons, formerly great space travellers who had even visited Earth, now lived as superstitious primitives. The Doctor helped destroy the living city, one of the seven hundred wonders of the Universe. As a result, power was returned to the Dalek and Earth spaceships.
