regeneration of the 6th doctor
The sixth incarnation of the Doctor was an argumentative, obstreperous person, who frequently hid what compassion and charm he possessed under a veneer of bullish aggression and disinterest. Rude and frequently unpredictable, he wore a multicoloured and tasteless set of coat and trousers that mirrored his fractious personality. Shortly after being placed on trial by his peers, he and Melanie Bush were travelling in the TARDIS when it was caught in a tractor beam fired by the Rani, which caused it to crash on Lakertya. The injuries the Doctor received in the crash landing forced a sixth regeneration.
