regeneration of the 5th doctor
Much younger than any of his previous bodies, the fifth incarnation was a less-assured but more eager Doctor. He was thoughtful but determined, always one to fight for the oppressed. Dressed in an Edwardian cricket outfit, he had the experience of an old man but trapped in a young body that many would not take seriously, until they began to know him. He and his companion Peri Brown were infected with raw spectrox on Androzani Minor, a lethal substance cured only by the ingestion of a native giant bat's milk. The Doctor gave all the milk to Peri and she watched as his body changed.
