marcus scarman
English explorer who broke into the legendary Black Pyramid and located Sutekh. Sutekh killed him and then reanimated his corpse to act as his arms and legs while he sought freedom from his prison. Scarman returned to England and using servicer robots disguised as Mummies, built a rocket missile with which to destroy the pyramid on Mars containing the Eye of Horus, the key to Sutekh's release. The Doctor destroyed the rocket, necessitating Scarman's travel in the TARDIS to Mars where, once the Eye was destroyed, he had a brief few seconds of freedom before his body turned to ashes.
