kamelion
A shape-changing android. The Master discovered Kamelion on the wrecked planet Xeriphas which had been decimated during the war between the Kosnax and the Vardon. The Master travelled to Earth with it, using his mind-powers to force Kamelion to adopt the shape of King John, hoping to stop the signing of the Magna Carta and so disrupt Earth's future development. The Doctor defeated the Master and took Kamelion aboard the TARDIS, much to the disdain of Tegan Jovanka and Turlough. However, Kamelion soon fell under the mental control of the Master again, now shrunken due to an accident with his TCE. Kamelion was forced to first impersonate Professor Howard Foster, Peri Brown's stepfather, and later the Master himself. No matter how hard it tried to shake off the Master's influence, the android failed, despite Peri's efforts to help it. Kamelion, posing as the Master, then tried to take control of the people of Sarn, but when he was used against the Doctor, Kamelion managed to assert his own control and begged the Time Lord to destroy him. The Doctor used the Master's TCE on Kamelion, completely destroying the android and ensuring it could not be rebuilt and reused.
