A planet which enjoyed a peaceful existence. The Second Dulcian Council had ordered a ban on all nuclear weapons research, an order overturned five councils later. The result of this was the Island of Death, a radioactive island which remained as a museum of war to remind them of their warlike past. Since then, Dulkis had been a planet devoted to peace, ignorant of life on other planets. This peace was shattered when the Dominators arrived, with their Quark robots. Their intention was to detonate the planet into radioactive energy to power their fleets. They also intended to use the Dulcians as a slave force.
