Inhabitants of the planet Dulkis, a humanoid race dedicated to peace. Many years previously, the Second Dulcian Council ordered a ban on all nuclear weapons research, an order overturned five councils later. The result of this was the Island of Death, a radioactive island which remained as a museum of war; a reminder of their warlike past. Since then, Dulcians had led a peaceful existence, ignorant of life on other planets, until the Dominators arrived. Using their Quark robots, the Dominators intended to reduce the planet to radioactive energy and thereby power their fleets, taking the Dulcians as a slave force.
