disappearance of the ss bernice
A liner en route to Bombay on the Indian Ocean mysteriously disappeared with all hands in 1926. Press reports suggested that a freak tidal wave may have claimed the craft although no wreckage of any sort was found. In reality, the ship had been placed inside a miniscope which was owned by a Lurman called Vorg. He took it to Inter Minor where the Doctor was able to link the miniscope to the TARDIS dematerialisation circuits and return all the captured occupants to their correct times and places. The time lines of these people and planets were probably subtley, but not dangerously, altered by this action.
