destruction of atlantis
The legendary island which sank beneath the sea thousands of years ago when the Chronovore, Kronos, was released from captivity by the Master. A small colony, worshipping the Goddess Amdo rather than Kronos, survived beneath the sea for many centuries until contacted by Professor Zaroff. The scientist promised to restore their city above the waters, but intended to do this by draining all the world's oceans into Earth's core, which would destroy everything on the surface, including Atlantis. Zaroff was stopped when the Doctor flooded a section of Atlantis he was in. Azal claimed that the Daemons had destroyed Atlantis.
