A planet within the Milky Way, harsh and swampy, that was used by the Solar System as a prison planet from which none could escape. Known as the Devil's Planet by the inmates, Bret Vyon was forced to land his stolen Spar ship there while fleeing from Mavic Chen and the Daleks with the Taranium Core. Some prisoners attempted to break into the ship, but Vyon electrocuted the ship's hull, stopping most of them. One, Kirksen, got into the airlock, holding the Doctor's Trojan companion Katarina hostage and demanding to be taken to Kembel. Once in orbit, Katarina ejected herself and the prisoner into space.
