Commander of the Interplanetary Mining Corporation ship sent to Uxarieus to find duralinium. He encountered an established colony there and used nefarious means to try and scare the colonists away, ultimately condoning murder. The colonists sent for an adjudicator who found the situation in favour of IMC - but the adjudicator was the Master who was searching the planet for a powerful and ancient weapon. The colonists and IMC personnel fought many times and, ultimately, the colonists won, declaring a republic and leaving Dent disgraced while awaiting a real adjudicator.
