dark circus
A dimension outside normal time and space. Resembling a circus ring, the seats were occupied by the three Gods of Ragnarok, extra-dimensional entities which required a diet of amusement to survive. While the Doctor waited for Ace, he attempted to entertain the gods. Ace was attempting to locate the talisman which boosted mental powers and which could be used to sever the link between the Gods' dimension and the real Universe, accessed through the Psychic Circus on Segonax. Eventually he was able to break the link and the Dark Circus was destroyed, although it seemed unlikely that the Gods were as well.
