dalekanium
Colloquial name given to the polycarbide armour from which Dalek casing is constructed, the materials presumably having been invented by Davros. However, human scientists realised that if it is manufactured slightly differently, it becomes a powerful explosive, actually capable of destroying Dalek casing. The rebels in the alternate future of the twenty-second century used Dalekanium to destroy Daleks and then, having travelled back in time, they used it to create a large bomb. This they used to blow up Auderley House, with Daleks and Ogrons inside.
