Twin planets in the Sirius system of the Milky Way. Androzani Major was the business centre for the system. The Presidium governed there with great success because it controlled the supply of the substance spectrox, a drug found on Androzani Minor. Spectrox could repress the aging process, almost doubling a lifespan. Androzani Minor was a smaller planet, formed of molten mud and populated by giant bats who lived in the caves beneath the planet's surface and whose nests could be harvested into spectrox. Magma Beasts also lived in the caves.
